This isn’t your grandmother’s advocacy. We’re going high tech!

College basketball isn’t the only thing down to the final four.  We’ve got just four weeks to convince Congress to secure funding in the national budget needed to implement the President’s strategy to end the violence being carried out by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) against families across central Africa.

Accomplishing that is proving to be a tough battle. So, just like all those Final Four ballers, we’re doing some serious training. And we’re assembling a team of all-star activists to lead lobby meetings across the country over the next four weeks.

If you’ve never participated in a lobby meeting before — or if those advocacy muscles have gotten a little flabby — it’s ok. Resolve’s got your back and we’re pulling out all the punches to get you on you’re A game (and yes, that A is for advocacy. Sorry, I had to do it.)

We’ve got some amazing resources for you, including the Start Something to Finish It website, our stellar grassroots interns – Liz and Jenny – and our first-ever Livestream video trainings twice a week – all designed to get you on your way to MVP status as a advocate for peace.

Check out the site and tune in on Livestream every Friday at 3pm EDT and every Tuesday at 5pm EDT between now and April 25th, as our Resolve team (and some other special guests) answer your questions and give you solid advice to help you prepare for your local lobby meetings.  Watch our latest Livestream session and make sure to join us for the next one.

And of course, if you’ve got any questions for us, we want to answer them for you. Feel free to leave your question in a comment below, or send us an email at s2f@theresolve.org.

The only reason to start something is to finish it, so let’s play to win, folks.
