Introducing the LRA Crisis Tracker iPhone app

Now introducing: The LRA Crisis Tracker iPhone application. Yes, there is an app for that.

This is just one way of the many ways that the LRA Crisis Tracker is making information about LRA atrocities available to anyone at any time.

The screenshots will give you an idea of how it works. It has several key features of the full LRA Crisis Tracker website including a map of reported attacks, a feed of the latest incidents, and a calculator of how much damage the LRA has wreaked in the last month, year, or since Dec. 2009 (which is the how far our carefully-vetted database currently goes back).

This platform was built by Digitaria, with much of the development time donated by an engineer named Adam Storr (follow him on Twitter @AdamStorr). We cannot thank Adam and the entire Digitaria team enough for the work they’ve invested in this project. Thanks to them, the final product is a combination of utility and aesthetic ease. Thank you.

Download it from the iTunes store or the app store on your iPhone to stay up to date on what the LRA is doing.
